A round-table discussion Arctic Shipping. Innovations in shipbuilding and ship operation took place within the framework of the 16th International Exhibition on Civil Shipbuilding, Shipping, Port Activities and Ocean and Shelf Development NEVA-2021. P. N. Zvyagin, the head of the Laboratory took part in the above-mentioned discussion with the report "Prospects for monitoring local ice loads on the hulls of marine structures using modern equipment".
The following specialists in the shipbuilding industry have also presented their reports on the event, which was held at the site of the Project Office for the Development of the Arctic "PORA" (St. Petersburg): S. I. Buyanov, General Director of the Central Research and Design Institute of the Marine Fleet; V. A. Likhomanov, Head of the Department of ice qualities of vessels of the Federal State Budgetary Institution Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute; V. K. Khanukhov, Director of the scientific and technical company Sudotechnologiya of the Shipbuilding & Shiprepair Technology Cente, V. V. Yakimov, Research Fellow at the laboratory of icebreaking equipment and ice qualities of ships of the Central Research and Design Institute of the Marine Fleet; A. P. Gorobtsov, Vice-rector for conventional training and provision of navigation practical training of the Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping.
